My daughter heard she was heading to Grandma's and ran upstairs. It was only later that I realised she had pulled ALL her clothes and shoes out and laid them all ready for her suitcase. It was a really *awwww* moment... as she was not going to Grandma's house for a further 9 sleeps...
She did manage to maintain the excitement for the whole countdown - and is now happy as larry to be swimming, visiting the beach, eating junk and going to bed late! (My mum was *never* that cool when I was growing up...)
