The one range I am utterly loving - is Tattered Angels. Their product is stunningly beautiful, usable and classic. Maybe I am showing my age when I am after something that wears well on my scrapbook pages (...sort of timeless style ;) Not long to go until we head on that jet plane with camera in tow!

Spent last night in the company of CLUR CURD and some of our customers... what a hoot!

Monday Money Saving Bargains...

Apparently the high street is bucking the trend when it comes to money spent in store. It seems we are less apt to pay online, and would rather rummage around the aisles picking up a bargain in person...

If you have Christmas on the brain, then toys are on offer EVERYWHERE - from Woolworths, ToysRus to Tesco, Asdas and Argos... toys are half price, 3for2 or 25% off. BUT research by TRB shows that we are spending more per purchase - but making less purchases! So we are opting for quality over quantity ;)

So what QUALITY craft goodies are hitting the bargain headlines on this nippy Monday morning?

1. Hobbycraft have got vouchers in practically all the craft mags which saves you up to £5 off when you spend in store. PLUS in store they do have some bargain bins and discounts. You unfortunately cannot shop online - so this does involve a trip in the car! Spotted in store - WRM, Making Memories, American Crafts and some pretty de-lish quality brands ;)
2. The Craft Superstore have a 15% off promo on Cuttlebug accessories (great stocking fillers) also check out their SALE section for a whole plethora of nick-knacks for crafty Christmas pressies...
3. Subscribe to your fav mag - or even sub for a mate this Christmas...

CHA Summer 08 - Day Two

Spotted: Nigella's Cream Cake Stand!! Who would have thought that the delicious goddess of all things domestic would have a little homage corner on the Creative Imaginations booth. Instantly made the right kind of impression with me ;)

Loved the open stock 8x8 papers... although will be a retail nightmare for our lovely {space deprived} UK retailers - although the creative ones will no doubt already have a solution in mind ;)

Themes seem to be raising their ugly {maybe that is the wrong word??} head... and the camping Cosmo is one I did not expect. I guess it isn't just Karen Foster Design that are getting more directive in their design!! Watch this space for more themes in unexpected places...

Spotted: CHA Summer sneaks

Spotted: Some wierd looking accessories from Creative Imaginations. I am thinking I can live without them all...?!! I do like their BARE ESSENTIALS (be) line - but most companies are launching chipboard albums and raw elements, that unless someone comes up with something that is on par with the ipod, it doesn't get me in a tizz.



Spotted: Cosmo Cricket get the goolies... reminds me a LOT of Daisy D's last year Halloween line. That grungey brown and purple (which we KNOW is the new pink for 2008!!!)

I am holding out for the special *something* that everyone goes WOWEEEEE over. I need something that will knock my creative socks off and create a little design flutter... not asking for much?!!!

Spotted: I adore this entire range from Karen Russell. Serious lust-worthy range that just is begging to be stroked... another MUST HAVE *written in stone, blood and a blue biro* on my shopping list... Just a shame that it won't really hit our shores until after May. But good things come to those who wait...!
