Spotted: SEI & Sassa Christmas 08

Spotted: Alpine Frost is the Christmas 08 line from SEI. This could not be further afield from Sassafras - as it is Christmas "all grown up". It is the colours of a skiing trip in the Alps (I am guessing the name hints overtly at this too ;) and it is more about WINTER than it is about the usual Christmas icons.
Seeing as though I rarely see a spot of snow (what is it with the UK and seasons being out of whack?!!) I am not sure that this one is as applicable... although it is divinely designed to work beyond the weather and create some classy projects!

Spotted: The cute-some offering from Sassafras... Life at the Pole is uber delicious with its perfect little gingerbread men and candy canes. Rather than blowing your eyes out with larger than life colour, it gets away with all the *cutesy* because it has softer tones reminiscent of Christmas's past. I love it. My kids would love it... and I am pretty sure the cute n cuddly followers will be queuing up for a slice of the action.

A night out in Chicago...

...you have to look at these from the bottom up (I uploaded in the wrong order!) but it is a pic record of a pretty cool night out on the town... 95 floors up the John Hancock Tower eating Alaskan King Crab (seriously delicious - like out of this world ;)
Me and the lovely Hayley (we go WAY back... ;) from Sassafras. I managed to gwap at their lickable designs before smooching the gorgeously {singly} Hayley. She was one of my very first suppliers (back in the Pebbles Inc. and early ScrapGenie days...)

Saw the 'Build-A-Book' stand and thought what a great idea... although I doubt I will ever find it greeting me in a UK shop - just no space. Still *love* the personalisation concept that means I can create my own book - no cheesy words thrust upon me...

Spotted: Sassafras CHA Summer 08

Spotted: Sassafras have their mojo and they are tooting it... they have found their *groove* and they are getting down on it. Their CHA Winter release was the best to date - and still they have been able to serve up a little something special for the summer. Saving hedgehogs and fawns, mushrooms and chip sticker journalling tags for our sheer indulgent enjoyment in just a few days. These are ALL on my must have list... I make no excuses ;)

Sassy spotted...

Spotted: The new Sassafras (they dropped the lass... maybe because it is also the lovely Tim who designs ;) clear stamps... LOVE the borders!! More cogs... but doodle clouds are perfect for those english summer days when the sun doesn't actually break through ;)

ALSO - 6x6 is the *new* 12x12... only because it is a morsel of mini fun that is priced perfectly for impulse purchasing ;) LOVE LOVE LOVE the colours of sassafras - fresh, enviably pink and orange. Doesn't get much better than this! 2008 is the year for Sassafras, they seem to have come into their own, and made a mark for themselves in the design cool club!!

Love it

Sometimes you just have to smile... and admit that somethings are worth rolling around the floor in. I adore the new Sassafras Lass... it is Mika all over it!! Fresh, funky, fun and fabulous. Gotta get me some of that... actually ALL of that!
It is weird not working with the lovely Becca and Hayley (who I have known for-ever) as I think they are both scrummy lasses.
The Grapevine: Something *wonderful* is heading our way in MAY. Nope... not a series of trade road shows with demo'ers extraordinaire KW and CC touting the lastest and lushous'est - just something that will knock your socks off and make you get back on that floor for a nice long roll around.
Later, Becks x
