Euphoric Purple Trend...

So a lot of folks have noticed that the new line from BasicGrey has *purple* in it (shock horror!) ...but as always, BasicGrey has already spotted a hot trend for spring/summer 2008! PURPLE is sizzling this season - and I dare you to not spot it all over the high street ;)

Dare to be on trend... and dare to get a sheet for just 60p (urm... NOT £1 as spouted by scary people who are sheep to believe the tripe.) Ooooo - is that controversial? I usually bite my tongue and let the truth actually prove the scary secret agenda folks wrong. Check here for details...

It is off to Huddersfield on Sunday... and a busy retailer-packed day! I slept in the basement in Coventry... and am looking forward to an upgrade to at least the first floor ;) I should say *hello* to Matthew from Mountain Ash Crafts who says he likes to read my blog... first bloke out there who will admit to it ;)

Oh really? Well, I don't doubt you're right. But in the case could you please inform my local new stockists (and long term Do Crafts stockists) Clarkes Stationers of Brighton that it *shouldn't* be 99p a sheet because that's what I've been paying to support my local retailer in their new venture into Basic Grey.

Don't get me wrong, I'm delighted to have them get a good range in but if they shouldn't be marking it up so high someone needs to tell the retailers the correct price, surely?

Purple as a colour in my house wouldn't be the one I chose to have . . but as a crafting accessory . . a must have. Purple for me just fills me full of horror as I agreed to make my SIL's dress, bridesmaids dresses, accessories, invites etc and everything was PURPLE. You could say I NEVER wanted to see that colour again for a VERY LONG TIME. Only just recovering ! !
