Oh I would bake up some lovely overly stuffed cup cakes, with rich pink icing and use the acetate to make up some square boxes (scoring the lines) which I will stamp with some lovely swirls with my White Stazon, and embellish with diamond bling, and top with a matching ribbon.... Great gifts for teacher, and playschool teacher!!

Not very exciting maybe but I love to use acetate instead of card blanks, folded in half to make a floating card and embossed using a Cuttlebug folder :)

I use plain acetate in my cricut or sissix to make my own ghost shapes which I can then stamp with Stazon or use rubons to decorate

I love using acetate to journal on. It means I can use whichever font I want. It's also great to stamp on so you can decide where you want to position your stamp before making a disastrous mistake on your layout :)

i would use the acetate to make my nan a layout for her 85th birthday that she could hang on her walls showing all of her 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

i like to sandwich it in frames to make pages in minibooks.

I'd use acetate as extra pages in my acrylic album, decorating them with paint, stazon or embossing powder (being very carful not to over heat of course).

I would make a window hanging. I would cut 2 heart shapes of acetate, a small one and a big one. I would decorate using stazon and the Sweet Nothings range. I would use it as a gift for baby Ava Lily who was born today....

I've just finished making acetate triangular boxes , tied with organza ribbon at the top and stamped with darkroom door stamps and staz on. They were filled with handmade Bailey's chocolate truffles and we sold them in aid of Concern. To display we hung them off tree branches with photo frames made from sandwiched beer mats covered with embossed paper with acetate covered apertures.

I love the stuff!
I stick it through my printer and journal on it, make swashes and swirls and overlay it, Stamp on it with stazon, colour it in with my markers, makes a beautiful subtle colour, use it as extra pages in mini books and my fave, make a shaker card using acetate as the windows. Is that enough reasons to love the stuff!
Good luck on the launch!
Rachel

How about using acetate as pages in minibooks to add a different dimension. That way the pages can be decorated with swirly rubons and other embellishments to emphasise the photo's on the pages either side of it!

Blimey there's so many uses for acetate, for stamping on and then colouring the undrside with Sakura pens, glitters etc.You can use them as a base to make bracelets, earings ect Use them as card blanks, make youre own overlays, you can also make youre own rub-ons by putting it through your printer and then placing straight down on paper and then rubing over it - have to admit it doesnt always work lol
oh my goodness Ive written a novel here....but as you can tell I love acetate!

I use acetate a lot - stamped on in mini albums with a frame around so you can see the photo before and the photo after (ikywim!). I also use acetate when I'm making cards with those little credit card sized gift vouchers - I make a little envelope and then cut out a window and back it with stamped acetate so the receiver can see the gift card. Thanks for lovely giveaway. Julie M.

I like to stitch it on a LO with my sewing machine, to give extra depth and dimension. You can print/stamp on it first then stitch it in place!

I use it to make my own rub ons. I print a mirror image of what you want (picture or writing) on your acetate, black works best you let it dry and then rub it on. It gives a kind of grundgy look coz it's not as strong as a normal rub on, but it works!!!

Paint it with acrylics to highlight preprinted patterns or lift paint off while still wet with a stamp (or iif you're dead clever, freehand!) Great shabby chic look.

I use BIG sheets of acetate in my scrapbook layouts, then it gives me double the amount of space to use. If you pop a photo on the front, and attach it to the page so you can 'open it out' it gives you room on the back to use for another photo or journalling. If you stick onto and under it, you create different dimensions without bulking the page and subsequently your album, and if you plan carefully, you can use it to give sneaky peeks of what is below the acetate, or behind on the next page for a mini book. Love the stuff. The most versatile medium I use I think.

I love to print digital elements on acetate and float them over my layout, it frees me up to use any colours in my LO without a stark white addition.

OOh a giveaway...how would I use it? Stamped of course comes to mind, but layered between pages in a BIA chipboard book - makes me drool at the mouth LOL!
Thanks for the opportunity to win

I love colouring acetate with alcohol inks then putting them over my flash as a filter to get cool lighting effects on my photos (I also use sweet wrappers for this)

I loved making wall hangings with mine. Stuck a photo behind the acetate and decorated the border with shapes drawn from glossy accents, buttons and some staz on stamped images. I have several tied together with ribbon makinga drop down wall hanging
