Announcing... Wassail from BasicGrey

[PRESS RELEASE] Early holiday presents - the new Wassail™ and 2009 Calendar Kit!

It’s a sharp, frosty December morning. Snow covers the ground in a dust of white. The kids are bundled in mounds of scarves, mittens and boots, red cheeks flush from boundless childhood energy meeting cold temperatures, and hot chocolate warms on the stove… It’s time to settle in by the fire and warm up with some Wassail.™

The newest holiday collection from BasicGrey, Wassail™ invigorates the senses and melts the heart. Red berries, green holly leaves and a cordial cup of country cheer blend together in this timeless collection that includes 18 double-sided papers, perfect for any holiday project. The Wassail line also features all your favorite holiday goodies like 6x6 paper pads along with alpha, element, mono and mini mono stickers, buttons (including new clear buttons), painted brads and glazed brads, one full-size and two Bitsy stamps (at lower prices) and new packaging. Need more to stuff your stocking? Try the new Wassail™ printed Chip Sticker Shapes and Alphas and our new holiday card kit that includes eight beautifully designed cards and envelopes (you asked for envelopes, we delivered!)

Counting the days until the New Year? Now add up those days in style with the new BasicGrey 2009 Calendar Kit. This kit includes everything (and we mean everything) to make a sensational 12-month calendar. Start with the calendar base that is included in the kit, and follow the easy-to-assemble instructions. This versatile calendar kit comes complete with all the supplies you need from many favorite BasicGrey paper lines, along with die-cuts, chipboard, rub-ons and stickers—tons of supplies to create a calendar you’ll never want to part with.

... I love the new Christmas collection. Still those strong traditional ivy greens and poinsetta reds - but with a hint of rose, and a sprinkling of lush pinks. It is Christmas - but pretty. Not in stores until October (in time for late card makers, and early scrapbookers... ;) but worth getting all nostaligic and festive for. Does it hit the spot? Vote in the poll today!
