A New Kid on the Block...

Just discovered Bella BLVD...

They only have a couple of lines, but they are totally usable in those soft hues and non-offensive designs. (You know the type of designs that you would be happy to wallpaper on at least one wall in your home, or even cover your dining room chairs with...)
It sort of makes me miss the Chatterbox heyday - heck they were delicious (still are) designs... totally easy to work with, nothing too jarring or stomach churning. Colours would be perfect in my ultra-beige'd out home... and I could scrap the crappiest pictures and still end up feeling satisfied with the results.

So - with a birthday approaching, what does the girl that has everything (scrap related) put on her wish list?!! Answers on a postcard, as I am stumped. I would like a range cooker... but I think I need a new house for that ;)

...was also browsing SEE HERE as Patrick's crennies had me in creases ;)

Love Lemon?

Spotted: My lovely friend NICK GEORGE (was part of Doodlebug Design...) has teamed up with another lovely friend of mine PHIL CHIPPING (he is the clever noggin that came up with the batfink shield for ya phones, ipods et al...) and well - Lemonberry St. is the baby that has been born... although I *think* we are still in digi labour (which is much easier than the real thing ;)
Can't wait to see beyond the front door... as it looks suitably girly; which means Phil's wife Amie MUST be involved!!!

Day Two (3)

SEI... Flocking/Velvet is a big show stopper... which I had spotted before the show. Sei have a long standing reputation in this arena - and did not disappoint. They have some strong design lines out. I did LOVE the new Doodlebug line (more so - but I am admittedly bias ;) More on them later...

Yellow Bicycle had a great stand. They definitely made the effort... unlike some booths which looked a little unloved. Good boy and girl lines (but after a long day it all kind of blurs... which is why it is good to rethink and list what stands out...)
What stood out? PRIMA - voila is a great new range. Just stunning. They also do overlays. Spotted Jenni Bowlin adoring this line too - so Monthly Kit club members be in for a treat (I also am joining up Jenni... it's about time, eh!)

CHA - Paper Trunk

Spotted: New papers from Paper Trunk

CHA - New Companies... Die Cutting

Spotted: New Die Cut tool (...can we get any more?!) called The Slice. I had seen this in prototype form last year... and it seems like they finally got a backer (aka Making Memories) and got this baby up and running. I will check it out and let you know if it is worth getting excited over ;)
You can watch it in action HERE

CHA - New Companies... the story!

I am looking forward to the debut of Pink Paislee... because it feels fresh and fun.

The story behind the new company is simply a clever collaboration between gals in the industry who have had success in their own right (Create My Keepsake, Pink Sugar Pop and Holly McCraig... digital diva divine!)

So we expect PINK - and for sure a little sugary sweetness to make the thought of yet another range to drool over... easy to swallow!

You can follow their BLOG HERE or just let me bring you all the good bits...!

Holly BTW used to have her own company My Digital Muse... and has done design work for other manufacturers - so this is one company I am going to be looking forward to ;)

CHA - New Companies... (4)

Spotted: http://mylyb.com/ Think it looks part of Deja Views (which really doesn't get much coverage in the UK) - but this new line looks like a vibrant BasicGrey/Crate Paper... or is that just me?!

CHA - New Companies... (3)

Spotted: I have to get my hands on a set of these clear stamps by Lizzie Anne Designs... my 5 year old daughter/princess is suited and booted for scrapbook pages (as well as party invites) using these be-you-teeeeees.

CHA - New Companies... (2)

Spotted: A new company (Graphic 45) HERE... what do you think? Very 1940s chic... and the artist has designed for dress pattern labels (which is a novel approach into the market.) I am thinking that this is very different from the bright and brilliance of American Crafts, 3 Bugs etc... but is subtly yummy. Very off the beaten path from bling, glitz, acrylic etc.

Don't forget to check out Marieke's Blog for those seriously sweet FREE downloads...

CHA - Sneak from Theresa Collins

Since the demise of Junkitz, Theresa has sprouted her own wings and is launching her own line at CHA! Here is a sneak, as well as details of her new ranges (as described by her!)

BELLA GIRL (tell me what girl does not love pink/black and crowns...) enough of a hint....
Bella Girl is designed for girls who love girly glam. I have to admit, I am such a girly girl. I am naturally drawn to pink and black, so I knew I wanted to introduce a paper line just for the girls. This collection is chic girly images of crowns …perfect for the queen in all of us. Bella Girl is a reflection of my love of pink- with a fresh yet classic twist. The collection consists of 4 papers, double sided for a total of 8 pattern papers.

BOARDWALK (this line is bright fun colors...just what I've been wanting to do...did someone say SURFBOARDS eh?????)
I have to admit, this line makes me smile. The colors just make me happy! I remember, visiting Myrtle Beach, SC as a young girl and walking the boardwalk. I am a summer girl, and wanted a line to depict those summer memories. The colors are rich and vibrant- (my favorite orange and light blue combination)…and sure to make you look forward to the good ole’ summer days.

DAMASKED (enough said....sophisticated and rich)
There is no secret, I love the combination of black and white. It is a classic combination that simply never goes out of style or demand. Next, mix this with the ever popular damask pattern. I must admit I am in love!!!! I wanted to introduce a line that is classic with lots of sophistication.

JOURNAL IT (this line will make you journal in a whole new light)
I am passionate about documenting and journaling “the story.” If we don’t tell our story…who will? I created this line to help the writer in all of us come alive. These papers make journaling easy, personalized and so creative.
Certain papers in this collection were designed specifically to go hand and hand with the Bind- it- All and DreamKuts machine.
